GhostViral Calendar: Schedule Faceless Videos and Post Them Automatically
The Calendar in GhostViral makes a new faceless video on the days and times you set and posts it to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X, or holds it for your approval. How rules, credits, languages and rendering work.
Key takeaways
- The Calendar tab in Channels makes a new video on the days and times you set and posts it to your connected YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X accounts.
- Each rule either posts automatically or holds every video until you approve it.
- A rule can follow weekdays, exact dates, days of the month or days of the year, with up to three videos a day.
- A scheduled video takes the same credits as one made by hand (15 for 30 seconds with a Fast AI voice) plus 2 credits per post. Creating a rule costs nothing.
- The Calendar is included with every paid plan.
What a scheduled video takes from your credits
| What | Credits |
|---|---|
| 15-second video, Fast AI voice | 12 |
| 30-second video, Fast AI voice | 15 |
| 60-second video, Fast AI voice | 20 |
| Each post to one platform | 2 |
| The same 30-second video in one more language | 13 |
| Rendering | 0 |
What the Calendar does
Making one faceless video is a few minutes of work. Making one every day is a habit most channels lose in the third week. The Calendar takes the habit over: you describe the series once, pick the days and the hour, and GhostViral writes, voices, captions, renders and posts each episode on time.
It lives in the app under Channels, next to the accounts you have connected. Every video on it is made the same way as one you start yourself in Create: an AI-written script, an AI voice, licensed stock footage matched to each sentence and word-synced captions. Nothing about the video is different; only who presses the buttons.
How a rule works
A rule is one sentence the Calendar keeps repeating, such as: every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 18:00, a 45-second vertical video in English, to YouTube and TikTok. The form shows that sentence while you fill it in, and what it will cost, before anything is saved.
- What the videos are about: a theme, and optionally a list of topics that are used one per video.
- Length and shape: 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds, vertical 9:16 or horizontal 16:9.
- Voice: the language and one of the AI voices.
- When: days of the week, exact dates, days of the month (the 31st means the last day of shorter months) or days of the year, at one to three times a day, in the time zone you choose.
- Until: a number of days or a last date. Weekly rules run up to 180 days, date and monthly rules up to a year, yearly rules up to two years.
- Where: the accounts to post to, with TikTok and YouTube visibility set per rule.
- How: post automatically, or make the video and wait for your approval.
Approve first, or post automatically
A rule set to wait for approval makes each video ahead of its time and stops there. The video shows on the calendar as Ready, with a preview. Approve it and it is posted at its planned time, or straight away if that time has passed; you can also choose the accounts at that moment. A video nobody approves within seven days is let go; the finished video stays in Projects.
A rule set to post automatically needs nothing from you. It is the right choice once you have watched a few episodes of a series and trust the theme. Posts are labelled as AI-generated on the platforms that ask for it.
What happens to a video, and where it is rendered
Each video starts about six hours before its time and moves through four states you can see on its day: planned, rendering, ready and posted. If a step fails, the day says so and why, and the video can be started again from that step up to three times without paying twice for what was already made.
Rendering happens on your own device first, like every GhostViral video: if GhostViral is open in a browser tab on your computer, that tab renders the video in the background and uploads it. If no device of yours is around, GhostViral renders videos of up to 60 seconds on its own server instead. That server reserve is limited to 15 videos a month per account, so a daily series is best served by opening GhostViral now and then; a video that finds no renderer waits for you.
The same video in more languages
A rule can ask for up to three more languages. Each becomes a video of its own: the script is translated to fit the same length, read by a voice in that language, captioned and posted to the accounts you pick for it. The footage is shared with the first video, so only the voice and the translation are paid for.
Separately, a rule can keep subtitle files (.srt) in up to five languages next to each video, for platforms where you upload captions yourself.
What it costs
Creating, pausing or deleting a rule costs nothing. Credits are taken when a video is actually made, at the same rate as in Create, and 2 credits for each platform it is posted to. A daily 30-second video to three platforms is 21 credits a day.
If your balance runs out, the rule pauses itself instead of making half a video, and tells you why. Downloading a finished video and posting it by hand is always free.
Changing your mind
The calendar is meant to be moved around. Drag a planned video to another day, change its hour, skip one, or click an empty day to add a single video. Pausing a rule also takes back posts that are not out yet and returns their posting fee.
To keep one account from crowding the rest, three rules can run at a time and a day holds three videos in total.
Getting started
From a paid plan, the first scheduled video takes about two minutes to set up.
- Open Channels and connect the accounts you want to post to.
- Switch to the Calendar tab and choose New rule, or click a day.
- Describe the series, pick the days, the hour and the accounts.
- Start with "wait for my approval" and read the cost before you confirm.
- Approve the first videos, then switch the rule to post automatically.
From an AI agent
The same rules can be set up from Claude, Cursor or Codex through GhostViral MCP. The tools are list_social_accounts, create_schedule_plan, list_schedule_plans, update_schedule_plan and next_scheduled_render. An agent is shown the credit estimate first and creates the rule only after you confirm it; accounts are always connected by you in the browser.
FAQ
Do I have to keep my computer on for scheduled videos?
No, but it helps. A video renders on your own device when GhostViral is open in a browser tab. If it is not, GhostViral renders videos of up to 60 seconds on its server, up to 15 a month per account. Past that, a video waits until you open GhostViral.
Which plans include the Calendar?
Every paid plan: Starter, Standard, Pro and Creator. Free accounts can make videos and download them, but cannot schedule or post from the app.
Can I see a video before it is posted?
Yes. Set the rule to wait for approval. Each video is made ahead of its time and shown as Ready with a preview; it is posted only after you approve it. A video that is not approved within seven days is let go.
What does a scheduled video cost?
The same credits as a video you make yourself, for example 15 for 30 seconds with a Fast AI voice, plus 2 credits for each platform it is posted to. Creating the rule is free, and credits are taken only when a video is made.
What happens when my credits run out?
The rule pauses itself before the next video and says why. Nothing is half made. After you add credits or the plan renews, resume the rule from the Calendar.
How many videos can I schedule?
Three rules can run at once, and a day holds three videos in total. Each video can also be made in up to three more languages.
