What does GhostViral AI create?
GhostViral AI turns a topic into a faceless video workflow: an AI-written script, an AI voice or your own voice, licensed stock footage, burned-in captions, and a downloadable MP4.
Are the visuals stock footage or AI-generated video?
The standard workflow uses real licensed stock clips, not AI-generated video frames. AI helps write the script, create the voice, and match visuals to each sentence.
Which formats, durations, and resolutions are supported?
Short-form exports use 9:16 at 1080×1920 with 15, 30, 45, or 60-second options. YouTube exports use 16:9 at 1920×1080 with 5, 8, or 12-minute options. The landing gallery has 24-second narrated editorial examples in both aspect ratios.
Do the sample videos have sound?
Yes. Each 24-second editorial example has ElevenLabs narration and aligned captions. The moving gallery stays muted so multiple videos never speak at once; open an example and press play to hear it. These examples were assembled for this page rather than exported from the app. Videos you create can use AI or uploaded voice.
How do voice and karaoke captions work?
Captions are built from the same canonical script used for voice. During speech, the current word turns yellow while the rest stays white. You can choose a caption style and position, or turn captions off.
Which languages and locales are supported?
You can choose from the languages offered in the create flow. Strict web quality checks keep locale-sensitive terms, currency, and visual context consistent when the topic identifies a location; GhostViral does not invent a country for an unspecified topic.
Where does the stock footage come from?
GhostViral uses licensed providers such as Pexels and Pixabay. Each scene is searched from concrete objects or actions in its sentence, then checked with vision against that sentence before it appears in the editor.
What does the visual quality score mean?
Each scene is searched from objects and actions in that sentence, then scored by vision against the same sentence. Clips that do not clearly match stay out of the grid. Missing or locale-unsafe footage blocks render.
How do credits work?
New accounts receive 60 free credits. A project shows its credit cost before rendering, and plan pages show example output counts. Script credits are refunded when a strict validation failure stops generation before usable output is produced.
Will my video have a watermark?
Free and guest exports include a GhostViral watermark. Paid-plan exports are clean. The editorial landing examples are clean because they are separate demonstrations, not app exports.
Does GhostViral have an MCP server?
Yes. GhostViral MCP is at https://ghostviralai.com/mcp. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code and your AI assistant can make faceless videos on your GhostViral account: it writes the script, picks licensed stock footage, generates the voice and captions, adds motion graphics and renders the MP4. You sign in and press Allow once; no API keys go into the assistant. Setup for each app is at https://ghostviralai.com/connect.
Can my AI assistant schedule and post videos through GhostViral?
Yes. Through MCP an assistant can list your connected channels and create, pause or edit posting rules on the Calendar, with the same credit estimate and confirmation as the app. You connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X yourself in Channels.
Can GhostViral post my videos for me?
Yes, on paid plans. Connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X in Channels and post a finished video from Projects; each post takes 2 credits per platform. Downloading the MP4 and posting it yourself stays free.
Can I schedule videos ahead of time?
Yes. The Calendar in Channels makes a new video on the days and times you set, for example every weekday at 18:00, and posts it to your connected accounts or holds it until you approve it. A rule can follow weekdays, exact dates, days of the month or days of the year, with up to three videos a day. It is included with every paid plan, and each video takes the same credits as one you make yourself.
Do scheduled videos need my computer to be on?
Not always. A scheduled video renders on your own device when GhostViral is open in a browser tab. When it is not, GhostViral renders videos of up to 60 seconds on its server, up to 15 a month per account; past that, a video waits until you open GhostViral.
Do I have to save every export to Projects?
No. Download Video is the primary action after render. Save to Projects is optional and uploads the video only when you choose it. An unsaved result stays in the current browser session and is cleared when you replace it or leave.
What does local rendering require?
Rendering runs locally in a modern desktop browser and uses FFmpeg processing, so keeping the tab open and avoiding device sleep gives the most reliable result. Performance depends on your device, video length, and available memory.
